How to blow bubbles with paint

Fun, fun, fun!
Last week we made bubble prints. Channing LOVED this art activity so much that we ended up doing it many times.

Here's what it looks like.
Here's how you can do it:

You need:
A paint cup or something similar
Paint (tempera)
Dish detergent
Water
Straw
Paper

How to do it:

1/ Pour a blob of paint into the paint container.

2/ Add a little dish soap

3/Add a LITTLE bit of water.
4/ blow bubbles into the paint.

5/ Catch the bubbles on the paper.

Just make sure the kids don't suck up the paint instead of blow it! Have fun :-)

  1. I recommended your blog to a friend of mine from the adoption community. She's homeschooling her gang and always doing crafty things. Every time I read one of the amazing things you do with your hands, I think what a slacker I am. And how much she would LOVE your stuff :) She goes by "Wife of the Prez" in case you see that moniker pop up.

Looks like fun, even tho I know I'll just never get around to it. :) LOL

  2. Cool........I'm trying to work out how to post printables on here too. I have a ton that I'm working on :-) Don't be too hard on yourself! I'm sure by the time I have number 4 or 5 I will have other things to do too!
