A little news

I was so excited about writing this post! Today I was going to the doctors for my 12 week (although I was 13 weeks) prenatal visit!! Yay!!! I was going to announce it and share the good news (plus the reason I am so behind in posts and things - I had been feeling so sick!).....however, I don't get to write that post!
Instead, I have to write the post that says that when the doctor tried to find the heartbeat, he couldn't and after 3 ultra sounds, it was determined that our newest little family member had actually gone to live in heaven a few weeks ago. I had stopped feeling sick a few weeks ago and had worriedly called the doctor (as we had a similar experience before we had Channing) but they said not to worry, it was normal to stop feeling sick around that time.............sad of course that I'll never get to kiss those cute little toes and hear it's "little lamb" cry.....but rejoicing in the fact that right now, our precious baby is being held by its creator!! AMAZING!!!

Some cool things have happened today too......two people that know us but we're not particularly close to had randomly let us know that the Lord had asked them to pray for us today and they had! I am so glad for their willingness to listen to the Lord - for me, it just shows that God knew what a rough day this was going to be and He already had people praying for us!
Another very cool thing that happened is that I was sitting on my bed with Sully tonight and he pointed to my belly and said "baby"......so I said to him "the baby's gone to live with Jesus" and he VERY CLEARLY said "Jesus here!" and pointed right next to us - out of the mouth of babes!!!

I have to have surgery on Wednesday, so I'd appreciate some prayer for that. We also found out today that Sully has asthma! (what a day, I know!) so the first few treatments have been particularly traumatic for him.....please pray that he gets used to it and it gets a little easier.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it must be tough to walk through. I'm so glad that you two have each other and your boys to hug on and love on. Be very good to yourself right now, and take it slow and easy. I wish I lived closer - I'd come over and bring you a meal and something pretty to cheer your spirit. Give Mike a big hug and we'll be praying for you guys in this season. Love you bunches.

  43. I am sorry to hear about your loss. I love hoe you said your precious baby is being held by our Creator! When I had a miscarriage years ago I was angry with God, I unforunately turned my back on Him. I regret that phase of my life but when I see a woman of your faith it's so hopeful! May God deeply bless your family for your faith. Hugs!

  50. Oh Michelle, this doesn't seem like "little" news at all....Like everyone else, I'm so sad this happened to your family. We walked the same road in December...like you, I had to blog about it. I hope you can take comfort that you don't walk this path alone. I've never met you, but tonight, I'll be lifting you up. I found it surprising how our loss would kind of hit in me waves. You already know Jesus is in your boat with you, (LOVE that comment from your son!), but it doesn't always make the storm go away.

  53. Michelle -
I know we do not know each other, but I can say that I do understand. I had two miscarriages and before my newest blessing, my daughter of 6 months went to be with the Lord. At the time I didnt question but I wished so badly to have her, mainly because she is my first and only daughter. But the Lord, because He is so GOOD, had the perfect plan for my family. So a year later He allowed me to become pregnant again and I had my 3rd boy in Oct.
So I just want to say God's plan is perfect and wants what is best for us. The last thing I said to my daughter was to choose which parent she wanted (though of course she didnt know how too!) but I am content and at peace she chose the BEST PARENT - OUR HEAVENLY FATHER!! I know that when I get to heaven I will have 3 of my children, that I never could really be with, waiting for me to show me around!! And so will you!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT - THEY ARE IN HIS GLORY ALREADY!!!
So I will be praying for you and yours.
    Blessings to you always
    Love
    Monica
