I thought I'd give you a sneak peek because I'm so excited about it (aren't the graphics ADORABLE!!!). There are about 130 pages to this one! Believe me when I say I could have kept going and going.

I plan to post it in a week or two (as I have scheduled MANY freebies between now and then!).

Splat Mats

I created Splat Mats as a fun way for Channing to learn letters and numbers.

Basically what you do is make the letter/number out of play dough, make it out of other manipulative's (dried beans, pasta, marshmallows etc) and then down the bottom, splat some play dough and stamp a word beginning with the focus letter (or a number word if using the number mats).
The stampers that we use are these ones. I LOVE them and so does Channing!

We will be using these mats a LOT in our "I Can" series so I wanted to draw your attention to them now. I will be offering word cards to go along with each letter for free on my blog as we get through each letter.

Hi everyone,
I'm asking my lovely blogging friends to say a prayer for us. We have been completely flooded - some homes on campus have 4 foot of water in them and no electricity. We are blessed to live on a hill so our home is fine. The road right outside out house has been flooded across since yesterday so there is no way in or out.
Many people have MAJOR damage and a few have lost their lives. Please pray for our town and the people trying to help everyone. The is meant to be up to 7 more inches of rain later today!

Alphabet Collage Book

Over the summer when Borders announced they were closing down, I managed to pick up this
book for only a few dollars. I love it because it has letters and picture....plus, what's not to like about stickers!

I decided to make this little book for Channing to go along with our "I Can" series........each week he'll be able to stick to his hearts content! If you don't have stickers, just use some old magazines and have your kids cut out pictures that start with the letter you're learning. This will soon be available in my TPT store if you are interested.
