What's in a name?

Letters! You can't really see it too well (because the snowballs are made of shiny paper and the only thing that wouldn't smudge was a silver sharpie) but we made the snowballs spell "Channing". This was a great activity because I am always looking for things to have Channing practice his name.
I had his name written out and he put the letters in order on the table and then we stuck them down vertically.
We're going to stick this little guy up on Channing's bedroom door :-)

I love this!

If he can read his name (or guess it) you might be interested in the family name game I made! http://livelearnlove226.blogspot.com/2010/04/family-name-game.html

Great idea. I think I will try to do this with my littlest one...though they may all (regardless of age) enjoy this activity.
